30 Years of
Vijayism.
A celebration poster built as a room of memory: a framed legacy above, a grounded present below, and career artefacts hidden across the wall, floor, furniture and light.

A career compressed into one cinematic room.
The poster is not just a portrait. It is a room full of evidence. The larger framed figure creates legacy and scale, while the seated figure makes the tribute feel close, grounded and human.
Around them, objects work like clues: films, awards, magazine memories, fan moments and small symbols from different points of the journey.
Years celebrated in one frame.
Designed at the end of the year.
Indian television recognition, on Thanthi TV.
Wall, floor, light and props, shaped by hand.
The final image reads as one room, but it was designed piece by piece: Photoshop layers, textures, lighting passes, masking, shadows, colour grading and depth.
Architecture first
Wall, wooden furniture, floor pattern, frame, shelves and room boundaries came first, so the poster had a believable physical space.
Objects as storytelling
Awards, magazine, autograph, books, newspaper, phone and gloves guide the viewer through the thirty-year celebration.
Lighting to unify
Warm gold from the frame and lamp balanced against deep green shadows, for a vintage, celebratory and cinematic mood.
Inspired by a first look. Rebuilt as a tribute.
The spark came from the first-look poster of the Tamil film Japan, released in 2022 ahead of the film in 2023. The influence is the idea of a character-centred staged room, not a copy of the image.
Inspired by
A staged-room composition with a strong central figure and cinematic object placement.
Reinterpreted as
A career tribute where every prop supports the celebration, not just the aesthetic.
Designed from scratch
Wall, floor, frame, props, shadows, highlights and colour mood, manually built through layered compositing.
Find the five hidden details.
The objects are small scenes inside the scene. Tap the glowing points on the poster to uncover each one and the story behind it.
Start anywhere. Each point opens a close-up crop.
All five found. You read the room the way it was built: legacy above, presence below, memory everywhere.
From social tribute to television frame.
The clip shows the artwork appearing on Thanthi TV in the actor's anniversary coverage, proof that the composition travelled well beyond a personal design experiment.
Cinematic tribute poster
Concept, compositing, room build, effects
Hide details, but never hide the main idea.
Structure before detail
The viewer must first read the emotional structure: legacy above, presence below, memory around them.
A frame first
Without a clear frame, strong hierarchy and a believable room, hidden details become clutter.
Craft builds credibility
Building the wall, floor, light and shadows by hand made it one controlled scene, not pasted elements.
